香港, 2018年8月28日 – (亚太商讯) – 银河资源有限公司（「银河资源」或「公司」）（ASX︰GXY）欣然公布与POSCO签订具有约束力的最终文件，出售位于阿根廷西北地区Salar del Hombre Muerto 盐湖北部的矿区，现金代价为2.8亿美元。代价将于完成阿根廷相关矿区的转让及登记手续后支付予银河资源。交易的矿区载于下文。

出售的矿区在银河资源位于阿根廷的世界级Sal de Vida 项目(「Sal De Vida」或「该项目」)的北部（见图一）。银河资源将保留卡塔马卡省 Salar del Hombre Muerto 盐湖地区南部矿区的100%权益，该区包括在Sal de Vida 的最新可行性研究内(参阅2018年5月15日的公告)。
此外，银河资源与POSCO将继续物色合作机会，以促进各自在 Salar del Hombre Muerto 盐湖地区项目的未来发展及营运协同效应。
有关转让及登记该矿区的必要手续最终确定之后，交易预计于2018年第四季度完成。交易的所得现金净额将于用作发展Sal de Vida 项目。银河资源在摩根大通的帮助下，正进行Sal de Vida 开发项目的策略伙伴评估。公司在不久将来将发布相关的最新消息。
